7 Months to go!
I have to finalize catering & tasting, ceremony details, guest list, ceremony music, dates & times with vendors, and invitations.
I also have to start working on programs, buy groomsmen and parents' gifts, petticoat and undergarments, schedule fittings, order bm dresses, pick pictures for our ledge and get them ready, wedding license, finish decorating fg basket, dance lessons, get menu approved for rd and get guest together for rd, checklist of things going to our venue, also one for stuff coming home with us, assign who's going to take the tuxes back and take my dress home, get invitations ready to send out and stamp, make rsvp cards, scrapbook engagement album & guest book, change name on everything, buy and make corsages, make chair bows with flowers, and work on our first dance.
woah lol it looks like a lot more than there is...not to mention getting things ready to close on our house, and get the house ready to move into!

Sick as a dog
I haven't been feeling good over the past couple of weeks, so I went to the doctor for the never ending cold I thought I had...
It's bronchitis...ugh they gave me a steroid shot in my hip and two antibiotics...
Ugh we can't get rid of it at my house. It started with my mom, then my dad, then my mom again, then dad, then me, then my dad too now.
So I spent the day at home trying to get some rest. I got the new Twilight movie to watch a little later and a book to keep me busy. hopefully I can go back to work tomorrow. My boss is attending a meeting at our down town office, so we are going to be short on people The guy who I am taking his place, he had pink eye so he had to go home early today too.
I'm ready to get over this! I have to get better! I'm leaving for a weekend scrapbooking retreat on Friday April 3rd/ Yay! I'm so excited about that....I'm going to get our engagement scrapbook done, and our guest book.

Craigslist for the win!
We bought our first piece of furniture for our house!
I was bored this afternoon and went looking on craigslist. I found a small round black kitchen table and 4 chairs for $100! Our kitchen is a little weird in the new house. The area where a table to be able to eat is right next to the island in the middle of the kitchen and on the other side is the living room area. So we have been looking for a small black round table to put there in that awkaward space. It's really hard to explain.... When the house is completed we are planning to decorate the kitchen in red, black, and white with the fat chef theme.
The table was all the way in Aledo in the country...it was quite an adventure to find...Thanks Paul for going with us to find it and help load it. All in all it was worth it...just needs some TLC...Kile plans to paint it and get it looking awesome.
It's a really great find for us to start off with. I'm really excited to see it in the space. Even if we don't end up getting the house for whatever reason, the table is still small enough where we could have it in an apartment. YAY YAY YAY!

Finally.....!
Today I was offered a full time position at my branch! I'm so excited....full time coming from part time means 8 more hours of work, medical/dental insurance, a day off during the week, sick and vacation time...After two years working at EECU, and getting passed up on the job once, I got offered a full time teller position! I start my new schedule April 6th when the current full timer starts at his new job downtown.
YAY! I'm so excited :0)

Our House
Without fail we have been driving by our plot of dirt every day and NOTHING! We told the builder when we signed papers that we would like to delay construction a month to put our closing date towards the ideal time for us. Well it's been over a month since we completed and turned in all the papers. Kile went by the office yesterday to ask what was going on. Fox and Jacobs told kile that the house only takes 100 days to build! When we originally asked they told us 6 months. Well they are not going to start building until May, so that puts us closing August, possibly September. September would be awesome, but August is good too. I'm sad....nothing to see on our lot until May!

2. Nothing has been done on our house yet. They move dirt on and off the lot, but nothing else. If they have not started by March, we are going call and see if the six month build time included a wait time plus the month we asked them to wait. We want to close in September if possible, but they told us it would be August. We will just have to see.
3. I"m really tired of our guest list yo-yo-ing. We started with 200, got down to 150, and now we are at 177. UGH!
....and that's it?
